I have been practicing Reiki for about 7 years. After feeling the amazing benefits during a Reiki share I decided to train to become a Reiki Master. Initially it was very much for my own healing & as a good introduction to my spiritual path (and any family/friends who asked for a treatment!). I have since given treatments at mind, body & spirit events, the Oasis Healing Centre in Debden, and various friends, family. I love teaching Reiki to students have helped teach Reiki I, II and Reiki Master Pathway courses with Acorn to Oak. My first passion when growing up was computers and I have worked as a web developer for most of my working career currently I also run my own company as a Freelance Web & iPhone App Developer. For me, Reiki fits in perfectly with this as I love new technology and Energy Medicine is the ultimate in new technology! Outside of work I love movies, walking in nature (usually with my dog, Poppy) and the occasional game of golf. I’m a qualified snowboard instructor however I’m perhaps the odd one on the mountain as I also love skiing (or any other excuse to spend time on a mountain)! Spiritually I’m a member of the SRF, I practice yoga & meditate every morning, and love to give myself Reiki most nights (although trying not to fall asleep when you’re so relaxed is very difficult!).

I started along my Reiki path, in February 2007, gaining my Reiki Mastership in 2011, and since then have been on my Master/Teacher training. Currently, I run a twice monthly Reiki Share evening, in the Godalming area, alongside my Reiki Practice. As well as attending many other Reiki Shares, I have also provided treatments at numerous Mind, Body and Soul events - I love being in the Reiki energy. Alongside this, I work within the NHS as an IT Specialist, and as a Chief Steward for a Football League Club, both of which I'm in the process of reducing my participation in. Outside interests are mainly to do with being out in nature: be that walking/hiking; camping, when the time allows; or just simply gardening.

I set up Acorn to Oak with the intention of helping as many people as possible so they could achieve optimal health, happiness, abundance, peace with fun, love and joy in all areas of their lives. I started my working life in the orthodox medical field and 22 years later I reviewed what I was doing. I had enjoyed my career, but realised it was limited to dealing with physical pathology I wanted to help others on all levels, so I started to re-train, first as a Homoeopath, then in Reiki, NLP, Emotional Intelligence, Life Coaching, Vibrational Medicine, BodhisoulR Breathwork, SRT, Mindfulness, Meditation, Creative Visualisations to name a few. During this time I’ve become an expert in energetic medicine and have written the Energetic Models of Health, Disease and Cure. I am a prolific writer, public speaker, and workshop facilitator. I am a Kriya yogi and enjoy working in private practice or with groups. When I've asked people what would make them happy right now... I've always been fascinated by their answers, these range from being a millionaire, being able to see their grandchildren grow up, watching the sun set from a Caribbean island, being pain free, being more self-aware, finding their soul mate, living another month, experiencing more joy, being content, feeling safe, finding out what their Life Purpose is, growing their business, taking a holiday, just being themselves. I am passionate about helping people find joy, realise their dreams, find their passion and achieve their highest potential. So how do I help you do that? A great teacher once liken life to going to the cinema. You arrive, buy your ticket and go into the movie theatre. The lights dim and after the adverts and promotional material finish the movie starts... it could be a drama, a thriller, horror or romance, but after a while you begin to identify with the characters playing out their roles in front of you. You may be moved to gasp, cry or clutch the arms of your seat in horror, empathy or fear... What you forget is if you turned and looked behind you, what you would see is just white light streaming through the projectionist box making pictures on the screen. So if you want the movie to change what you need to do is get up and go back to the projectionists box, go in and change the film in the projector, then the pictures on the scene will change. So if you want the outside experience of your life to change, then you need to go within yourself and change what is happening there first. In the story the film is your patterns, subconscious clutter, past traumas, forgotten hurts, limiting beliefs, sabotaging programming, suppressed and repressed emotions. All of these things and more are what are stopping you creating the life that you want and desire to experience. What I have done at Acorn to Oak is bring together Cutting Edge Therapies, Training, Coaching, Nutritional Advice and Supplements to promote your Optimal Health, Wellbeing, Happiness and joy on a Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual level. I look forward to meeting you. Take Care. Enjoy and In Joy

Testimonials

Felt very safe, I got alot from the attunements...The time was over all too soon. Wow I may of found myself...Thank-you so very much :)

Lynn Holland, Groom/carer

I have really enjoyed the group dynamic of the course - the fact that I can bring anything to the group and not be judged... it was a real safe space. This was absolutely invaluable :) Also learnt a lot from having people with different experiences and different... levels (not sure how to phrase this) of spirituality. So I am fairly new to this work, but having Amy etc, as well as Pennie present really helped. Some of the interactions between Pennie and the advanced level practitioners was really insightful, and made me reflect on my own behaviour, ie there was stuff that was pointed to the practitioner and the issues they were going through, but also it helped me notice behaviours in myself that I was not aware of, so I got extra gold out of it. I feel like I have grown a lot over the last year and am much better equipped to handle life's ups and downs, especially in comparison with the old me.... and that is due to the breathwork and the things I have learnt. This whole process has been really invaluable. The format of the day was good.. nothing felt rushed and ample time left for discussion and theory and breathwork.
