Advanced Energy Techniques

I had the great pleasure of hosting another brilliant weekend for our Reiki Master Students – Advanced Energy Techniques – I really enjoy being a part of it. It’s a residential course from Friday evening to Sunday late afternoon, this year we stayed just outside Frome in a complex of cottages with a games room and indoor swimming pool which added to its charm.
We spent Saturday in and around Glastonbury, starting by climbing the Tor to investigate Ley Lines and the students received their first Reiki Master Attunement (Luckily for us it was a fine day with some great views). We then had brunch in Glastonbury where we discovery the regular, big or bigger full breakfast options! Following brunch we visited the Abbey for more ‘tuning in’ and ‘energy sensing’ which always is an interesting mix of high and low vibration and insights.
Early afternoon we visited the Chalice Wells to experience the Red and White springs, taste the waters, with more energy exercises and meditation experiences.
To finish the day of unique experiences we travelled up to Stonehenge where we had a picnic and ‘Special Access’ into the stone circle. Acorn to Oak has had this privilege for the last 10 years, but this year changed slightly as the new visitors centre is now in use… it all ran like clockwork. The Reiki Master students received their 2nd Attunement in the centre of the Stonehenge Circle. We also met another Reiki Master from New Zealand in the centre and had the wonderful experience of being able to make her dream of receiving an attunement in the centre of the stones come true.
The Sunday was filled with more reflection in practice as we played with energy is various ways. Practising extending and retracting energy fields. Magnetising self, energetic hygiene, tuning into emotions and where you feel it in your body. On reflection each student received amazing insights and results.
The second half of their Reiki Master training is in early November – so that is definitely something I’m looking forward to being a part of
